Just completed that mission :D
Since this isn't the spoilers forum, let me just say that after clearing out the ruins, I found that it was just about UNDER my nose from the START....

ya thats what i figured since its the first mission but ive been playing for a long time avoiding the main quest so i was used to things being hard

Anyway.... did you find it? I started to wonder where it was after a while myself. The Temple's Hair Shirt quest is like this as well.... go in expecting the worst... eh, well.

the little box is at the very start of the build the fist hall you walk into and there is a ramp and you go up there then you will see a door go in there there should only be 1 gaurd in there kill him and on a self there is the little box along with other nice little things
