I'm on the divine blood quests. I just got Tiber Septims armor (note: already did aid for bruma, but none after getting citie to send help) but when I walk up to martin he asks how the search for the armor goes every time... help :( i was so pissed I killed him once.

None of the dialogue options let you advance the quest line? Did you scroll down through all of the available options? The reason that I ask is that I played the game for three weeks before I realized that dialogue options (in general) are scrollable.
The "Aid for Bruna" quest is a completely optional thing. It really only affects how much help you have during a certain battle later on, and you can skip it entirely if you choose. It shouldn't have any other effect on the main quest.
