well I finally cured mine and the count's wife's vampirism and when I talked to his argonian assistant she said to wait here while she got the count. and never came back. I went and did some other quests and when I returned she was still not there. I found her in the secret cave but she tells me to wait again. the count just asks me to leave when I break into his room (surprise surprise!) so I'm not really sure what to do here. is there a way to reset the actors or something? any assistance is greatly appreciated.

yeah I tried it but by day two it was like 10 pages back....

Question: When she went to get the count, did you try following her?
All the strategy guide says is, "When you see the count again, he'll give you a rather meager reward of leveled gold." I'm guessing this is the part you're at though, but correct me if I'm wrong:
[spoiler]You have given the cure to Rona, which allows her to talk to her husband one last time before dying. You then waited, allowing the Count time to grieve and whatnot, then you saw his Argonian. This is when Hal-Liurz told you to wait?[/spoiler]

ryushi- yes. when she told me to wait I did what I did before which was to "wait" for an hour. no one came, and I kept "waiting" and still no one came. the count is now just chilling in his room probably counting MY gold and laughing at me.

The gold reward probably isn't very much anyway. It's pretty strange though. Sounds like some type of AI problem. Maybe wait to see if the count ever leaves his room. I don't know how journal entries work in Oblivion, so I couldn't tell you how to fix the problem with the console.

Did you wait 24 hours after the cure first?
