Hi there,
tried to install everything according to the Tech FAQ and worked nice, though when trying to play a Coop there is no connection possible.
So we found the Direct Play 8 wrapper and it worked like a charm, BUT now we don't have any of the fixes that were applied to the SS2Tool's modified exe file.
My question: How do i get the Wrapper into the SS2Tools exe?
More in depth description: We tried Hamachi, we tried port forwarding AND triggering, we tried hamachi some more with the priority settings and all that. I have no idea what to do other than getting Direct Play 8 running, which is only possible if we use the wrappers exe file instead of the one that got patched by SS2Tools (and yeah, i saw it was in one of the older versions and got removed). Thus said, i think we tried everything without the Direct play wrapper and so this is the only option left, but since there are a lot more fixes in the SS2tools, i would like to use them too somehow.
