Hi, I've started playing SS2 today (LONG OVERDUE lol) but I couldn't help noticing the textures look kinda weird. Can this be due to the game only supports 16bit resolution? Here's a screen I took:

Is there anyway to fix this? I opened cam.cfg and changed it to 32bit but didn't worked. Thanks in advance

The game doesn't support 32bit.
And telling us your system specs wouldn't hurt.

Ok, my specs are:
Pentium 4 @ 3600Ghz
8800GTX
2GB RAM
Windows XP professional SP2
Ok, so is there any way to fix it? I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to look like that :P
Thanks

Ding. That's your problem right there. NVidia cards haven't rendered Dark Engine games (SS2, Thief) correctly for years.

While there can be some banding on color gradients in 16Bit, this looks ... weird. You should check your graphic card settings.

New ATI cards have the problem too? Dammit.
There's got to be some smart guys out there working on a software Voodoo emulator. The need for one as more and more legacy 3D-accelerated games start to degrade or outright fail is getting ridiculous.
