So, the famous, and infinitely PC knowledgeable bikerbude left.
Maybe he just went to spend his tech points at the spell check store.

He posts fairly regularly over at the TDM forums. So he probably didn't leave, he's just busy over at the TDM forums doing his thing there.

Would be a tragic blow to the tech and troubleshooting forum if our friendly neighbourhood bikerdude really has left. :(

... if ... bikerdude really has left.
There is no "if" about it. He has gone. He said he was leaving. Severed all ties. Removed his contact info. Gone. Kaput. Finito. Bikerdude has left the building. He's not haunting these here parts anymore.
He could come back I suppose, but it doesn't seem likely.

Any idea what pissed him off? Didn't see any big blowouts around here.

Er, I know there was a bit of a hoo-hah about whether he should be made a mod of the TechTroub subforum but I had been under the impression that all was resolved amicably on that front.

He also tended to get a bit of flak in gen gaming from the people who like ripping on the Thief forum regulars.
Still, he was a legend of the tech and troubleshooting forum and will be sorely missed.

Ah, forum drama. TechTroub doesn't really need a full time moderator, tbh. I don't think you need to take anything on the internet too seriously, and honestly, the Thiefgen regulars who get ripped into usually need the wake up call.
Biker was always helpful to a fault and a really amazingly knowledgable chap. But he did need to grow up a bit. Or at least take things a little more jovially.
Anyway. It's sad to see him gone. Good cheer to you wherever you are, Biker.
