Given how Annoyingly Difficult it is to make the (at the end of the day over-rated) constant effect enchantments, I found using alchemy for super-intelligence potions to be very useful.

I made an amulet for pretty much every spell I needed, all CE. That was for my old char though. I don't like the game so easy any more, so I make it more challenging without doing boosting my stats.

It's because I've been ninja kicking your wood elf ass when you weren't looking.
(wood elves suck... and are ugly)

Mostly my latest character uses Alchemy to make restore potions as well as levitate. Early on I'd use INT boosters to get a better result from my potions, but lately I've not bothered as much (or only one poition before making new ones). Then again my Alchemy is pretty high up there now, so it's doing well on it's own.
Even when I did boost my stats it was usually never over something like 2-300 for INT (on making potions early on). I generally only use one potion at a time.

Wood elves aren't that ugly, if you use some of Rhedd Head's models. But after playing a Nord and an Imperial, both fairly tall species, I couldn't get used to seeing everyone eye to navel. I should probably mage a mage one of these days instead of warriors...

Will a constant effect intelligence booster amulet also increase my magicka? I'm a pretty comic mage, being a level off archmage and having a magicka of only 78.

Yes, it will. I also remember there is a ring or an amulet somewhere which increases your magicka by 75 pts, constant effect- but I think it's in BM or Tribunal- someone else may have better memory than me...

This is a better option than using a Fortify Magicka ring... I tried that (someone mentioned it in a FAQ). The problem with it is that when you remove it, it'll drop your magicka down to negative numbers (you can't see it, but it's there), where as removing the ring with fortify INT, the game will re-adjust the percentage of magicka as it drops the upper limit.
Or something like that.

There are plenty of Fortify Magicka items out there. Some of these increase your magicka by an insane amount. If you use those items in conjunction with fortify INT CE stuff, you should be casting spells like breathing air in no time ^.^

I got the Mantle of woe which is INTx5 CE, but it has a lot of negative side effects. Can someone give me some exact directions to a few CE INT boosters or fortify Magicka items? I have BM and of course Morrowind.
