He lives at the Dren Plantation-it's marked on the paper map, almost due east of Pelagiad...he is inside one of the buildings there (the big houses, not the small huts). so if you poke around inside you should find him easily.

Never played as a vamp myself, but I hear it's well nigh impossible to proceed with most quests if you are one, cause, like you said, people just don't want to know you. I don't know how you'd get round this one.......

FWIW, his vampire greetings aren't overridden so it's a near-certainty that he'll attack.
