I just got DX2 and a Radeon 9800 for Christmas, and I cannot play more than 10 minutes of the game at a time. Around five or ten minutes into the game the screen goes blank, and the game freezes. I cannot even get the program manager when I press ctrl,alt,del. I have the newest drivers, and the patch. Can anyone help?

Try to uninstall the drivers and go back to the drivers on the disk that came with the card.:thumb:

try looking in the options tab in video card settings. read the packaging version and make sure its 7.962. if its anything else the drivers havent installed properly. also, what brand is your card?
are you having any problems with other games? try running something else with a fairly demanding engine for 10 minutes and see if it crashes.
what motherboard do you have?
