Yeah, I had to do it twice myself. Initially, I went into settings and set my resolution and then 32bit textures; the video-mode restart reset the texture setting (I think).
Basically, this is what I did: set video mode, exit DX; set 32bit textures, exit DX. All was OK after that.

Is there anything else that can help this problem? I'm experiencing it myself on a Radeon X800, colour depth is 32 bit in the game, I checked the .ini file and it's 32 bit there as well, but the splotchy greenish ugliness continues. It looks fine everywhere else but in the shadows it's horrible, which is a problem because as someone else pointed out, you spend a lot of time there.

Its weird, I could bet my right arm I had it set to 32-bit and still got it, just like you. Anyway, you know how it always is, as soon as somebody suggests something obvious and you try it, it seems to work, leaving you feeling somewhat embarrassed and confused :erg:
But yeah, just keep trying to set it to 32-bit, restart, check that it hasnt revered and try again.
Come to think of it though, at one point I wasn't sure if it was the HDTP or Shifter that was causing it so I got rid of that instillation and reinstalled it from scratch, setting my texture mode to 32 bit was one of the first things I tried before so maybe after reinstillation I never bothered with it... hence why it worked when suggested in this thread.
This being the case, reinstall the game and see if that helps!!

After you've set it to 32-bit and succeeded make sure to SAVE THE GAME as well!
