So, I used this doomstone near the Jerall Mountains, which gave me a bound gauntlet. When the spell expired, the game simply crashed to desktop. I tried Fast-traveling away and resting, but it always crashes.
I DO have a previous hard save, but it's, like, 7 levels and the entire Mages Guild questline behind.
Would anyone please help this desperate, desperate man?:(

If you're asking for a savegame, I have one but all quests are completed except for the coliseum quests, sorry.
Maybe searching the net for
oblivion savegames
in google might get you one that you could use.

Are you wearing any Daedric armour? Try taking it off, or even 'taking off' the bound gauntlet early, if you can (I've only ever used bound weapons, so I'm not sure if the latter is possible).
