Hello it is nice to meet you all, I'm a long time fan of Sysshock2 and I have played Christine's fan missions and enjoyed them very much so hats off to you Christine:thumb:
I would like to know if the Dark engine used in the creation of Sysshock2 is open soruce or not, if so where can I find it.
Also I'm considering making a fan mission of my own but I have no real game editing skills so any advice is very welcomed.

Kargan:
1. Unfortunately nobody has the source.
2. To make a fan mission you need to learn how to use ShockED (among other things)
3. If you search the forums for stickys and FAQs, then go to SBF (Strange Bedfellows) you'll find more than enough literature and software apps to get you started. ShockED is contained in a download called the ShockED Toolkit, which contains a number of other useful utilities.
4. You can post any specific technical questions in the Mission Design forum, provided the question hasn't been answered multiple times before (do a quick search first).
5. Between TTLG, SBF, SShock2.com and a few scattered support sites for this game there exist several tutorials, written and video, that show you how to work with ShockED, DromED (very similar to ShockED, with some differences, used for the thief games), or other aspects of game design for dark engine games.

Much Thanks Rocketman I'll look into it
