Two games I remember loving, for whatever reason. Can anyone name them?
#1 I'll call it "space cops" hovercraft/helicopter crafts in city maps. Almost sure you are a cop, or law enforcement. Fly around and kill targets. (NOT in Space)
#2 This one is for sure in SPACE, small fast crafts take on wave after wave of larger and smaller ships in space. Remember this one as being really fun, but challenging. Graphics-wise, seems like I recall the ships as being very low detail, but the game play was great. Picking just the right craft/loadout was key to winning a round.
Both were on PS1, if iirc, anyone got any guesses?

1. G-Police?

YEEEESSSSS! Don't even have to look that one up! I remember the name. (or recognize it) Thanks icemann! For whatever reason, I remember that one quite fondly. Googling as we speak, holding you responsible if it sucks now!

G-Police was one of those games I loved when I rented it, but never got around to buying for some reason.
#2 sounds familiar. Was it Colony Wars?

I'm not seeing how either of those are Hell games.

Wow, you guys are incredible! I have tried looking for these games before, but got nowhere. Colony Wars is right! (again, just recognized the name) Both of these were prompted by icemanns' Most Memorable Games thread, they just didn't make the cut. Should 'prolly credit Thirith's clutter thread, cause my clutter always includes an old school pad of paper and a ballpoint pen!

Ahh, but you missed the all important (') ...Crap, I may have just made a tactical error...*runs for cover*

What's weird is that, by your description alone, I probably wouldn't have guessed Colony Wars outright. It's more of a space sim style game, like Freespace, while what you described sounds more like an arcade shooter. But your mentioning a load-out, and slapping G-Police right above it, made me think of Colony Wars.
Strange how your brain bounces around like that. I haven't thought of either of those games in probably two decades.
