On the 8th of this month I'll be heading to New Jersey for a Democracy Spring national training. They've given me a travel scholarship so all my expenses are paid. But they can't hand those out unless we raise funds. Below is my [NOT] fundraising page.

Anyone here who believes that government by and for the people is the right way, and has something they can contribute, me love you long time. If you can't make a donation, I appreciate you visiting the page to find out more anyway. If we don't restore democracy and the rule of law in America, we're committing collective suicide. Plutocratic goverment can by definition only worsen the trends of climate change.
Democracy Spring is a movement of mass civil disobedience with aspirations to grow and become more powerful in numbers than the top .1%.

Sorry, but TTLG isn't a platform for people to scrounge funds after a few posts. Scrounging is limited to those who do it properly*.
*a "proper scrounge" review can be arranged for an appropriate bribe fee...

I suggest posting a link to a page explaining the background to it rather than a personal fundraising page.

Excuse me. I forget that we live in a society full of scammers and no one should be trusted. It doesn't take much effort to click the link then go exploring the website to find out what it's about. Additionally, the video on my fundraising page *explains* what the movement is generally about and why I'm asking for donations/what they're going toward. Perhaps if I link to a page eplaining the movement as a whole, then I could be given the right to link to the fundraising page also? Again I'm not actively asking for funds from TTLG members, I'd just like for them to watch the video and consider donating if they support the cause and are able.

Despise is a little strong. Disdain for the attitude is all. When someone knocks your door, pushes past you, grabs a handful of uncooked pasta and starts eating it, does kissy faces at your wife, pisses in the pot plants and then says, sooooooo I'm collecting money for this thing - I'm one of those intolerant sorts who is still reeling from the first part.
