It is getting harder and harder to get to this website and the forums. Last time i tried, i got the 404 message and when I DO get through, it takes about 10 minutes to get here. i mean it is a case of :confused:. anyone else had this problem?

LOL aside, my first PC actualy had a Turbo-button on it, it made it go from 8MHz to 16MHz. Ofcourse, we called PCs "BeigeyBeepers" in those days.

From the thread title, I was expecting this to be a piss-poor porn spam trolling attempt. But now I am happily reminded of Turbo buttons on PCs of yore. Um, Hurrah!

I remember having to explain to a friend that installing a turbo button in his PC wouldn't make it faster.

Here is a sneak peek at how dumb I am: When I got my first -- very own -- PC, I thought the drive reset button was the turbo button. Imagine my surprise. Now hurl garbage at me while howling derisively.

I have grown very slightly smarter since then, however.
But only slightly.

And then there was the time I was setting up my new PC and was very consternated by the fact that no matter how many times I flipped the power switch on the back, nothing happened. MsLedd can tell you all about THAT brainfart.

PSU on. Nothing. PSU off. PSU on. Nothing. PSU off. PSU on. Nothing. RARRGHH!!!
