I get 2 turkey dinners today which is just as much a curse as it is a blessing. gotta love family... sometimes...
for those of you south of the border, it might still be a month away but you can come to my house for turkey.

Since I'm not technically from Arkansas, I celebrate Thanksgiving by raping and pillaging my neighbors. It's all in the spirit of the thing, man.

mostly its just a good excuse for a paid holiday and a chance to jam. Except I'm a student so I don't get paid. I guess I paid the school to pay my profs to have a day off with pay. .. damn

Happy Thanksgiving.
I don't think I could deal with Canadian Thanksgiving. Too early, doesn't feel right.
Aerothorn on 12/10/2009 at 20:42
Wait, what is Canadian Thanksgiving about? I think the American version has to do with Plymouth and all that.
BrokenArts on 12/10/2009 at 22:23
Yeah Plymouth Rock, the Indians, or should I say Native Americans. Sharing the feast, then the so called Americans infected the Indians with their viruses. Way to go.

this doesn't exit in the uk, so murdering a turkey, is at the top of the list due to be they so ugly, die ugly turkey.:wot:
its smallpox the indians caught and died of.
spread through them all like wildfire, so the one in south america, where there wern't many trees, due to they chop then all down, get buggered now by green people due to having too many trees.

In Canada officially the day to give thanks for the harvest. Timing is right, it started snowing this week. It has nothing to do with the plymouth rock stuff.

Yeah - Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canuck Taffers and premptive greetings for y'all tardy Yankees.
I am thankful that my girl friend survived her very recent stroke with very little brain injury, will eventually make pretty much a full recovery and will be home tomorow. And also that a friend has some leftover turkey for us. YAY!
Thanks too for TTLG and Com Chat.
