Just downed a huge pizza, which currently seems like a tactical error but I know that when the the shit starts going down the last thing you want is a foundation of salad.
Gearing up now, and then buying vodka and pickle wedges en route.

Half-two in the morning here now, heading off to bed after great food and fun with some friends. I'm starting 2009 with an 8-way game of Civ (not the computer game, the old school board game) over three days. Should be epic.

Happy New Years all. A fucked up year for the U.S., but one year closer to me getting my life on track (finally). Also another fine year of ttlg, my constant companion through all the whatthefucks? of daily life and transition. I luv you bunch of nuthausers. Just keep your fireworks the HELL OFF MY LAWN. :cool:

10:43: waiting for the husband to come home from working late; we'll eat obscene amounts of shrimp, kiss at midnight, listen to some tunes, and then I'll probably fall asleep before 1:00. Intimate, quiet, maybe even boring... But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. :D
