My fingertips are blue/purple/red/green from coloring Easter eggs. And yesterday, behind a bush out front, I found one of last year's eggs which obviously had been overlooked during the frantic 'I got more than you!' egg-hunt. After trying desperately to keep the cats & dogs from eating the celophane 'grass' we've always used to line the Easter baskets (it's not only gross to see a strand of that stuff hanging from the anal orifice of one's pet, but it can do internal damage to the animal as well) I've decided to go with pastel colored cotton balls instead. The kids won't notice because all they'll see is the 'good stuff' in their baskets. Also; try reconciling the religious significance of Easter with why there's an Easter bunny that gives you colored eggs and candy. Kids can give you the most precious blank stares you've ever seen.
Happy Easter everybody! ;)

Dogs (and I might guess other animals) shouldn't eat chocolate because it can harm them.
