Howie, you are such a goofball (you know I love ya) ;) It cracked me up watching that Misled video (which never did the music or the band justice, or seemed to fit the song at all... of course that was SOP for 80s music videos). You know I used to have a complete interpretation of those lyrics as they applied to me (according to my friend). Most of it boiled down to me being the wild one/entertainer/everybody's friend, yet also out of reach because of some perception that I was older/more mature/experienced (I wasn't - I looked older than most in high school, but that was it), that to engage with me otherwise was "serious stuff" because I wasn't like all the other high school girls. Interesting now, frustrating as hell back then :erg:

FOR THE RECORD: My birthday is JULY 16 and, this year... I will be 21!! (again). :cheeky: And you're all invited to the party!! \o/

*Sounds oh-so-much-better than 42, doesn't it? Besides what better reason to get shitty drunk, run around town naked and not remember a thing in the morning than a 21st birthday, eh?*

Er... except there was no such thing as digital cameras, the internet or youtube the last time I was 21. I may have to rethink this a bit.
