Oh, and also Anachronox is four years old.
Happy birthday, Anachronox.

I have Obsessive-Deus-Ex-Purchase syndrome. Whenever I see Deus Ex either in the shops or online for £5 or under (usually is), I buy it. I then give out copies to anyone I can make interested enough. It's an odd disposition, but hey it's cheap and can often changes the way people I know see the world.
Can you be hired? You're the dream of every sales department...
Can you be reprogrammed? - only minor changes

Wow... has it been only five years already?!
Whatever happened to the DX Retex project anyway? Seems like they dropped off the face of the Earth without ever releasing anything.

Going strong, apparently. Although I joined last winter and didn't hear anything from the whole crew, they apparently picked up the project again and are moving forward.
It's now the "High Definition Texture Package"

I'm the same way with System Shock 2: sent one copy to Australia from here on Vancouver Island- satisfied fan. :thumb:
How is anyone supposed to
see that Bafford's book line clearly?? Subliminla intent? buried for Jorge to know and us to find out? Inside joke?
It doesn't have to be a direct refernce to the DX game we know.
I imagine it's still there in Thief Gold- does the new texture pack make it more visible, less........or gone?
Who is going to fix the A.I. glitch and release Deus Ex Machina: Redux?
Charge it to original devs.

Congratulations! :thumb:
Five years, huh? It feels like fifteen years ago to me. Don't know why. So much has happened since then, in my life at least. I guess that's the reason.
I still rate Deus Ex to be my favourite game. Not that it was flawless, but it was certainly great. Still is.
