The stunning yawn of a reply to your misplaced outrage ought to tell you how useless posting this thread was in the first place.

I actually got a reply into that locked thread, though it was little more than 'Oh dear'. Always edgy, me.

I quite like Fonda. She (
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/question_time/4617079.stm) sat on the panel of Question Time not so very long ago (a rather jolly BBC TV show where supposedly intelligent debate happens among a panel made up politicians and commentators and such after being asked probing questions by members of the audience) and came across as an exceptionally smart woman.

Apparently she hasn't learned to become war supporter.

Fonda is protesting war, but really is protesting human suffering. We are causing human suffering and she seeks to stop this. But she is only protesting against a "cause" of the real problem. At the root and the real way to stop human suffering is to educate the populace. So really she should be against things inimical to education like: bad movies (Monster-In-Law); unnecessarily flooding the populace with exercise videos; advancing Jennifer Lopez's career; advancing Lindsey Lohan's career; Partisan Hackery and shows promulgating them like Crossfire which is shown on CNN which is owned by media-mogul Ted Turner who was married to?
