Hi all.
I'm trying to get T2 1.18 to run on my laptop. I've read through the FAQ and most of the threads in here that look relevant to my problem, but I either haven't found anything that works or I overlooked something obvious right at the start...
When I run the game, I can get through the initial movies and menus fine. After I click "continue" on (
http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/7613/t2crashtm2.jpg) this screen (apologies for photo - can't seem to take a screenshot) the display flickers to the desktop, then goes black and stops responding. I have to kill thief2.exe via the task manager. If I may ask, does the game begin immediately after that screen or am I hanging at the start of a video?
I don't get any error messages. I've tried all the Windows compatibility settings but they make no difference. DDFix doesn't do anything but change the resolution. I've installed the Indeo codecs but that made no difference either.
Windows XP SP2
T5500 1.6GHz Core 2 CPU (affinity set to CPU1)
1 GB RAM
Mobile Intel 945GM onboard gfx
DirectX 9.0c
Any ideas? :)

make sure you are not running the game in win9x compatibility mode,and rename the movies folder.see if that gets you somewhere.
