ar. it would make more sense if you can do hand to hand combat with bare hands, especialy in MJ12 prison. like who would be stupid enough to leave a baton laying around like that? espeicaly near the prison cells. Since MJ12 or FEMA must have alot of money to spend (if your recall the 2 UNATCO troopers conversation in the NSF HQ that WS gave a lot of money) those soldiers must have had a lot of training to be smart enough not to let their equipments leave unattained? It is also clear that the agents must had trained in martial arts traing or boxing, cuz it is done in real military and police departments.

Maybe with hand to hand combat you could do things like block enemies attacks, like lightsaber fighting in Jedi Knight.
I would like to see Gunter Hermann fist-fighting terrorists
"put up your dukes!"
-terrorist instantly gibbed

I always wanted some sort of h2h combat in Deus Ex. Not really because I feel like going "Bruce Lee" on their terrorist asses, but because it fits my definition of "stealth". Carrying a gun, knife, taser, or even a baton is like announcing your intentions with a bullhorn. I want to be able to walk around a public area, looking like any other civilian, not arousing any suspiscion from guards, police, or whatnot, but still able to knock a guard out, or snap his neck (kind of like the garrot ala Hitman). Missions that would require being completely unarmed for risk of being captured and searched would add an air of "coolness" to any game.

well. in most games i saw h2h up to now, it never worked properly. example: outcast. you kicked everywhere, just not your enemies.
