i can make it out even with a zoom on it ,but it looks like 3 words and second word starts with L and last word starts with W, first letters seems like a J, but i am curious also as i never noticed the writing

Yeah, I can only make out a few letters as well. IIRC this texture appears a handful of times across the first 2 games.

i even traced the letters in 800x zoom and nothing makes sense as far as english goes
now if someone has a program that can clean up with letters by the darker area's as letters maybe it could work
toss it into a a.i. programs and have it figure it out?

It does look like it says Seek the Light Within, although Im not sure if its one of those situations where you see things after you have been told or that blue/white dress, Yanni/Laurel type situations.

Eh, maybe, but it does look quite a lot like, "Seek the Light Within." Honestly, most of the letters seem to line up ((

it would be cool if when we see it in game there is a area with light, where a secret would be would have been cool for the dye=hard fans

IIRC this texture is used on the altar with the secret passage in the hammerite temple in Undercover/Strange Bedfellows; IDK if that's its first appearance but the hidden passage certainly seems to be connected to the text.
