Finished ! An excellent mission with some good gameplay. Well done.:thumb:

Three questions:

1 What is the frobbable plate in the small torture chamber near Basso's cell for?
2 What's the official way into Trimble's attic? I just bashed the door in.
3 Missed 1 secret, shown as "4.The 2 big crates nearest the weapon room and coffin dislplay room" on the list.
(Which are the Coffin display and Weapons rooms?)

Am standing in a dungeon - offered the ring - portcullis opens. Now comes the problem: how do I get the heart without being trapped? I tried to frob it but no go - I found myself in a bundle of trouble. Help please!:eek:

Look in your thief 2 folder..the game folder that is in C:/Games...or wherever you installed the game and you will find your savegame subfolder, you can copy/paste it and send it via an email attatchment...I'm not sure how or if you could attatch it onto a post.
You did delete all the saved games in that subfolder before you installed version 1.19 didn't you, I think Darthslair recommended it at the beginning of this thread...it might make the difference.

Looking for the...secret switch that opens the door thats next to the big crate near the caretakers room...
...Lopped off Dr Morris's head after realising that there are TWO vators in the lab that work independently of each other...
When I opened the...central tomb in the mortuary with the big angel and the ominous statue, went down and had some boney arm poking out expecting a tip..what do I need to give it..is it the ring....
...where in Gods name is the holy sword...its hard work with a regular one and the key for the dungeon portcullis behind which I suppose is that idiot Basso who is always getting into trouble...

Thanks Darth...I am at the well, there is a sentinel just down on rhe right hand side...wrong one?...I remember hearing a splosh yesterday but I guess it has run out of sploshes..all the sentinel statues in that octagonal room are silent...do I have to break the statue as I did for the other secret...
confused of Wiltshire.
