Some recommendations for the Halloween season:
* Observer
This one looks intriguing. What's the gameplay like? Have you finished it yet? I see it's 50% off in the PS store. The soundtrack during the trailer is blatantly inspired by Blade Runner, so I'm guessing the rest of the game is too.

Interesting list. Most of those are fairly old, and some are PSX/PS2 only, so it might only be possible to play through emulation or if you have an old console lying around. Still, a few of those have always been on my 'try out someday' list, like Shadow of Destiny, which I am bookmarking for future reference.
RE: Observer, I thought it was pretty naff, but icemann liked it. I wrote some fairly harsh words about it (

Good aesthetics and a story with a few bright spots strapped onto an obnoxious jump-scare-heavy template. If you like the idea of a genial, drunk Rutger Hauer phoning in a video game script, it'll definitely give you that, at least.

PS3 - Siren Blood Curse
Curious - why not play the original Siren available on the PSN as a PS2 classic? From what I've heard from fans, the PS3 version is a mixed bag, vastly inferior in terms of story, even though it has better graphics, controls, and less meta puzzles. It's basically "The Grudge" starring Sarah Michelle Gellar to the original, "Ju-On". Kind of an attempt to remake the first game for a western, more mainstream audience, and losing a lot of the quirky Japanese-ness that made the original a cult classic.

Wasn't one of the problems with the original Siren that it was stupidly difficult, and had less options in dealing with the Shibito, making retries a tedious exercise? The reason it's a cult classic is because it requires a certain amount of dedication to engage with. Blood Curse still has a fairly large amount of Japanese-ness to it (of course it would, it was made by the original Siren team), but they replaced the cast with Americans in some sort of misplaced attempt at mainstream penetration. It didn't work, but it does have more polished mechanics, is fairly easier, and has better graphics thanks to their experience iterating Siren and Siren 2.

The original is not for everyone for sure. I'd do some research before giving it a try so you know what you are getting into and how to best minimize the trial and error.

Yes and no. Its a real mind fuck of a game. I'll say that the first 3/4 of the game is excellent. Gameplay is crime investigation with some adventure elements. So say you find a dead body, then you investigate the crime scene via all the cyber augmentations you have.
The really fun bits is when you hack into peoples minds. You never know what to expect in there (as dreams often are).
If you do play it, be sure and track down every last PC, as there is this really fun 2D puzzle mini game on them. I was able to track down all but one.

Brethren, have you played Condemned: Criminal Origins? If not, its definitely worth adding to your list.

Love Condemned, one of my all time faves. I replay it every so often. I liked the 2nd one too, just not as much (seems most hated it). There was some talk for a while of a Condemned 3, but I haven't heard much recently.
Dug into Until Dawn a bit last night, it really goes all in on the "Every decision you make affects events that happen later in the game!" routine. I'm wondering how much it will live up to that, it seems that few games that go this route do. Not too happy about the myriad of quicktime events I'm seeing, that might just kill things for me at some point.
Also playing Detention on the Switch - very creepy atmosphere and awesome audio (as Sulph mentioned). The gameplay is fairly mundane, find this item, solve this lock puzzle, gets clues from journal, etc., but you barely even notice because the mood and mystery of what is going on kind of draw you right in. I got hooked pretty quick.

The choices you make actually affect later events quite a lot. I'm not a fan of QTE at the best of times but it didn't really detract from the overall experience of the game for me. I also found the game got better as it went along.
