William the Taffer made a few ruined doors for DP2, but I can't give them out them until the mission is released (or until he pops in here and gives permission). Sorry...

Nice find :thumb:
This can certainly be of use. Much inspirational art as well as images to be used in dromEd.
I'll add it to the main list.

Sweet R Soul, nice find indeed, I'll be able to create several textures with it :D
Same idea : (

It's french only (I think) But there are several pictures about old french architecture and patrimony in general, mainly in the country (wells, fountains, windmills,...). Don't expect to do textures from it, but this is one of my inspiration sources ;)
There's a construction types list, just scroll down and click one to have pictures about it.

Looks good Drk. But I'm not going to add website with inspirational architecture only. This thread is not meant for those.
There has to be something available that can be used in DromEd.

As you wish, still some textures might be done if you search well. For example, go to old doors (portes anciennes), some pictures can be used as textures ;)

We could do with some of (
http://www.keepofmetalandgold.com/links.htm) these adding to, like Thief Underground, which has tuts and demos. :cheeky: Oops, that one's been mentioned already! Well duh!

There are a number of nice door textures there! Some of the iron door pics even have nice white backgrounds, which should make creating the transparent areas a breeze! I might just do a quick pack of new doors using these textures.

I have a couple of textures from that wooden door collection from that same site. I emailed the owner to ask for permission and he said that i could go ahead and use them, all he asked of me was to send him the mission when it's done, for his Daughter, or Son, i can't remember. I've used one of them in the next version of TGS but i've yet to release it. If anyone wants to use them, you should email the owner first, for permission.
I'm surprised there's no copyright info on that site. I should ask for permission first though, before using them, especially if you're thinking of making a pack.
