Guidance w/ corpus.. - by Azuras

Hey guys, havent come here for a long time but I finally started playing again and I got into a tight spot between a rock and a hard place.. Anyway, I stopped with the 'Main' Blade's Quest after the Vivec Informants mission, got myself the head guy in the Fighter's Guild, and House Redoran. I then went back to Blamora and Cosades wont give me any new orders, saying i've been infected with corpus and need to go to Tel Fyr to get cured. I tried that but I cant get him to cure me, well, go on the little 'errand' I guess he wants me to follow. I've already given him that Dwemer artifact, and that drum to one of his daughters in the corpusarium. Can anyone help, every time I go back to Cosades he says he can't give me new orders until im cured..

Did'ja get the boots from the half-dwemer/half-spiderbot guy, down next to the drummer lady? That's what Dvayth Fyr sent you down there for in the 1st place, after all...

I haven't gotten to the point in the main quest where you get cured, I just finished the Vivec Informants mission, and Cosades wont assign me any more missions. I have talked with the Fyr guy about every topic and he doesnt mention "boots" of any kind, nor do I have anything about them in my journal. I have also talked to the dwemer-spider and he doesnt have any topic about boots either. Any help would be appreciated.

When asked about 'Orders', is what he says "Go to Tel Fyr and get that corprus disease cured. Then hurry back. I think I know how to get the lost prophecies Nibani Maesa asked for."? (I mean exactly that.. if not, exactly what does he say?) If that's what he said, I'm puzzled, because that requires the journal entry A2_3_CorprusCure to be set to >= 1... and Caius is the only one who can do so.
Also, you didn't by any chance kill Dagoth Gares, did you? Doing that can make you jump ahead in the plot a bit, to the cure.

Caius said exactly that, and I do not believe I have killed that guy unless its part of the Redoran or Fighter's Guild missions... Anyway, i've started a new game that seems to be working fine, for once, thanks for the help anyway :)

Bizarre... well, luck ;)
Edit: Well, found out how this happened by accident, myself... Word to the wise: Never, and I mean NEVER, so much as talk to Divayth Fyr while you have a Dwemer Coherer in your possession. Regardless of if you do or don't give it to him, this is what happens, and the only fix I've found is to patch Caius' dialogue via a custom plugin (ie: not gonna work for an XBox user) or as Ryushi said in another thread, go for Nerevar's ring.
