I wouldn't think so. Medlar, did you get a MP3 [make that .mpg] of it? Would it be possible to get that hosted somewhere and linked so the rest of us can hear the performance? I love manoche style guitar (Django is my icon), and would love to hear Finger's treatment.

I got 23 minutes of .mpg... a rather big file but I'll try to find time to edit it a bit.

I just got back home.
Wow. It was just incredible. I WANNA GO AGAIN.
But yeah, we're all winners or something. Anyway I've had loads of nice messages from all sorts of people, it's excellent.
Thanks once again, Carlos Bonnell (the guitar judge) was very positive afterwards, and he seemed to basically be saying - yeah, very good, but really, guitar is not suited to this style of competition and they were looking for a more showy playing.
But it was great nonetheless, I'm gonna just order all the pieces I ever wanted to play now and bash away.

I agree with them looking for "a more showy playing", and one of the woman on the TV decided that you played without passion or somesuch - but I thought it was a really good show. You looked more intense than the rest anyway, definitely :thumb:
