There are two good things about the Eurovision song contest.
1) We get to find out which countries we didn't even know existed have joined the EU during the past year.
2) Wogan.
For those not in the UK, Sir Terry Wogan is a TV/radio personality who provides us viewers in the UK a tongue in cheek commentary which makes the whole thing worthwhile. And he's a Knight of the British Empire, no less!
