I've already threatened to knife him in the face whilst standing on a girder suspended from a crane.
(I've seen that screenshot )

Aww, I really hope they release it on PC asap. The wait is killing me. :(

To stave off buying GTAIV, I got San Andreas for the PC. I will rightfully chew my prior words on the matter, I'm having a whale of a time... could this be a bizarre case of port >>> original?

I've heard many people say that GTA:SA has better graphics, framerate and control on the PC than on the PS2. And afaik, that is true. So yeah, a rare case but almost anyone would agree (except Sony fanboys ) that the PC port of SA is superior.

Just going from PS2 to Xbox was a huge improvement for that game, most noticably on the PS2 the game uses blob shadows, and on Xbox it had fully fleshed out ones. I played it on my sister's xbox .:P There were also a number of higher def textures, especially for terrain.

Since we're talking GTA I thought I'd share (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF4H1Ut9jLU) this video I just found.
This is one of the things I love about the GTA games. The stunts. This is something that the developers of Skate figured out, and that Rockstar has known for a good while now. The most satisfying stunts don't come from memorizing and executing a certain combo of key-presses. It comes from figuring out the game's physics and knowing your surroundings. And having an imagination. And careful planning. And a good amount of dumb luck.

That video looks a lot like he's got mods on to make the bikes faster/crazify the physics, still that stunt where he jumped off the bridge and landed it on the boat was insane.
The best GTA stunt IMO was in the original GTA, san andreas part 1. There was a curiously parked penetrator which, if you got in it and mashed the throttle without turning at all and without hitting a car anything, would take you half way across the map through alleys, over swimming pools and other jumps.

Hey Scots did you play and like Vice City? If so please let me know how San Andreas is for you as I might need a filler til GTAIV arrives for PC.

So, which version to get? I have both a ps3 and a 360. Heard the 360 has some serious downloadable contest, but the ps3 also has some, it's just the details on it are a bit sketchy. And graphics, will gta4 look better on the ps3 hardware, or won't it matter?
