I can't think of any games that are all about the points these days.
From TrackMania to DDR, a lot of games, even flash games like Desktop Tower Defense, uses scores as the main reward system.

Woa... My friend's kid (who is 8 years old) is so gonna love that game! (he loved VC and SA)
And Jack Thompson will die from a heart attack tomorrow.

Hey! I'm one of those "old people"! That does not mean I'm an idiot! (well, maybe I am, but it has nothing to do with my age)
Ok, ok ... I misspoke; what I intended to say also has nothing to do with age.
I meant establishment thinking, or narrow-mindedness towards games ... anyone having opinions about games in an out-dated frame of mind. I should have just said "non-gamers", and will change it to such.
I mean, I really meant to target those Senator-types that put placards of GTA-screenshots on tripods, circling some police car exploding, and deign to judge it ethically although they've never played more than 2 minutes of a game in their life.

That is... just... wtf? Well, I guess Rockstar just thought "If you're going to SAY you can do it we might as well actually do it."
Hmmm. Here is a conspiracy theory for you. Jack T is actually a Rockstar stooge who made a fuss about stuff, said you could have sex with hookers then kill them to get your money back, and sat back to watch the reaction.
No-one cared, did they?
So now Rockstar know that no-one is going to care, but that it IS going to generate hype for the game.
Just a theory.
And there is a worse video than that one Scots. Thing is, the most interesting thing in it was wow the shadows and particle effects are great. This is a real step up graphically.

Honestly, I don't need that much interaction with my virtual whores.
It's kind of off-putting.

Nitzer Ebb and crack-whores...lovely.
That was much more graphic than I would have guessed, and I'm a bonafide degenerate. In any event, it's high time for another guilty pleasure, and surely this game will have much more to offer regardless.

Is anyone else concerned that this is the first GTA game not to feature a tank?
