I had totally forgotten about my terrible experiences with GTA Online back in 2018 ^^^ up there until re-reading this thread. But I do fondly remember our 2016 co-op sessions, and even first dipping my toes in Online back in the 2013 XBox 360 days. Man, this thing has been around for a while eh?
Started it up on PS5, and while it DOES seem to remember my R* Account, I still had to create a new character! Oh well. They give you 4 million GTA-bucks starting money but you also have to spend most of it on some starting enterprise. I picked the gun running bunker business. I'm getting the hang of it, figuring out how to make money with it. Also did a whole buncha missions for the meth dealers and I'm close to being able to afford my own mobile meth lab! Yay! Even when just playing by yourself there's like a whole GTA-game's worth of missions and content here. You get more money for racing F1 cars this weekend so I've done a bunch of those races. They're fun. I rarely stick long with online games, but I'm having fun for now. Gonna try to save up buy a salvage yard. I wanna drive the tow truck!

GTA V Enhanced (story mode) is running pretty great on my PC in 4k, all RT features on high, DLSS balanced. Never seems to drop below 100fps. I have one have just one complaint from the technical end, no HDR output. I wouldn't be surprised if the censorship of transgender jokes has been carried over from the 9th gen console remasters, but hardly a deal breaker for a free patch.
Issues people have:-
* No HDR output, not even Win 11 AutoHDR support like the legacy version has.
* TAA always on
* Frame gen not being available presently, will be patched in later.
* No text chat for online
* People having difficulty migrating their MP character from the legacy build.
