Just had a hilarious time trying to escape the police, attempting to jump over a river via a ramp, not going fast enough and slow mo crashing onto the opposite bank and me and my crew having to swim for safety.
We escaped though!
I had a similar experience. Except, it was on the golf course, I tried to jump my golf cart over the creek. Didn't make it.
This game rocks.

The underwater areas are surprisingly pretty. You can find guns and money down there too.

The water is amazing. Riding a jet ski is incredible. The waves man, the waves. This is the best game water ever. It's better than Half Life 2s and I spent too long marvelling at that. I just ride slowly over the breakers again and again.
Also - went for a random drive up to the hills. Smashing.

Been enjoying the sunsets in this game a lot. I also really dig the snapmatic feature and have been snapping some photos. Doesn't work sometimes (in terms of posting it to Social Club) but I'll try a few times until it does. Wasn't until recently that I realized the photos don't store locally at all which stinks. Other than that, it's great and you can share the photos online.

Unfortunately doesn't work underwater either, hence the shaky-cam shot above :(
Missed opportunity there.

Yup, agreeing with all of these last posts. The water looks amazing, in fact it almost looks too realistic to fit in with everything else. I haven't spent much time underwater yet, mostly just in the mission where you're in the submersible. Floating around down there at night is eerie and quiet, almost like being in outer space. A real shame there's no firstperson cockpit view in the submersible(or any of the vehicles for that matter). But those sunsets, man. R* have done a great job of showing off the gameworld in this one. Though GTA 4's Liberty City might've been meticulously detailed, you rarely got to see the city in all it's grandeur. But here the whole city is surrounded by hills, meaning you often get to gaze out over it, and it regularly serves as a backdrop to mission-cinematics. It all looks great up close as well, I love to slow down sometimes just so I have time to take it in, whether I'm driving along a bumpy country road or rolling through the industrial area. :)

There's a nice touch waiting for people wanting to explore the depths with a sub. The game has crush depth pressure.

I thought the exact same thing.

You mean where you can see the dashboard? You know there is first person view from the cars where you can just see the bonnett, right?

Yeah, but the submersible doesn't even get that. It's only got chase-cam.
