i cant find the damn keening sword. I looked everywhere in Odrosal. Its just not there :( and i really dont want to use the consol cheat if i dont have to.

Actually, I'm not at all sure it was in Odrosal that Keening could be found.. It might be Venymnal. But anyway, that set of stairs leads into a seperate room with Keening. They mould in really well with the background, and all the Dwemeri ruins on Red Mountain are really dark!

Yes he is correct. It´s to the right as you enter Dwemer training academy, just pass the metal doors and it´t on the wall stright (sp) forward on the wall... is´t kinda dark there..

Yeah i had to use night eye spell to see clearly and i only found 1 ladder leading up to a very small room with heh nothing in it but those ash statues =(
I guess i can go try that other ruin place thanks fer the help :D

I found keening sticking out of the ground in a dark circle decorated with ash statues. It looked like the sword in the stone! I believe it was in one of those tower-type rooms with an access hatch in the floor. It was definately in Odrosal. If you've checking this room and there isn't a sword poking out of the floor (or whatever) then I'd say something is amiss.
(and if you want to make a signature, just click on the USER CP button at the top of the screen then select Edit Profile. You should be give the option to add a signature.:eek: )
