I just played it the other day (been sitting in my FM folder forever)
and I think it's awesome! D'Spair have you totally abandoned this level?
I dont know if you saw my post in the Hammer Imperium thread,
but I would really like to mess with the mansion in an FM I'm tinkering
with. I just wanted to ask permission first before I did.:D

Thanks for your words, I'm pleased you loved the level.
Today I have a mission that has almost finished lighting, sound, details etc... You can see the latest shots at (
www.grimgame.nightmail.ru/eng.htm)
I really loved that level when I was building it, but now there is a PROBLEM that I really cannot fix. Nothing helps. The game just crashes after a few seconds of play. With no error messgaes at all. I tried to cut off all objects, half of the level... Nothing helps. So I decided to abandon it :D after a 7 months of work :( :( :( Of course, I will be happy if someone helps me, but it seems to me that there are no people who are able to do it... Right now I'm very busy with my examinations in the institute, but after a month I'm going to have some free time. I think that if someone of you guys love my level you can use the mission for your projects, and I can sell you the latest version...
WITH THE BUG, hehe:)

Cool!, I was able to multibrush the building section into my T2 level (left out the tunnels)
I'll probably make all kinds of changes, but it will serve as a great template
to go with my designs (I tend to be architecturally challenged). If I use it in an FM, I'll be sure to give you credit in the txt file.:D
-just did a little more checking...looks like someone had a wild party in there!;) :laff:
I think one of the things that may have created problems was the fact you had
so many solid brushes at wierd angles. It made the debris strewn areas and
destroyed sections look very realistic, but dromed tends to act funny at times
with unusual architecture. If you go for the same effects in the next attempt on
your FM, you might try using more block objects rather than solids, that might help.

Thanks for your advice, I'll try to use your ideas when creating the next FM:)
p.s. People... DromEd is a judgement day...

This is 20th level thread necromancy.
lordhern on 22/2/2025 at 13:31
Based on the number years from the thread start it's nearly 22 full layers of necromancy.

I was going to ressurect the other thread, but that would have only been a hexadecennial bump.
