In an effort to improve PR, Greyhound has begun a new series of ad campaigns, and attempted to find a new slogan for their company. The best they have come up with so far is "Where you be-heading?"

It will always slightly blow my mind just how big a deal the symbolism of something like this is to people.
"He's batshit. We're locking him away forever"
"No! We want "guilty"!"
"Well, technically, no he's not. But he's going away"
"grahh! Guilty!" etc.
Why? Where do people get this picture of the world from? I'm pretty sure I don't hold any such stock in legal descisions of this sort. It could be said circumstances bring it out, but I'm pretty sure I'm just a weirdo (I think 'closure' is a load of pop psych bollox, for instance). Most people do really expect "justice" to work that way don't they. External validation in absolute terms. Maybe that's missing the point too. Perplexing and intriguing.

Clearly what we need is a very special episode of Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
