Any Canadians here know exactly what happened? I was reading blogs over on Comcast and this is turning out to be a real horror story!
People keep saying how the passengers should have tried to help the victim which is ridiculous! My first instinct would be to run from some whacked-out knife-wielding maniac! If I did try to help, I would probably end up getting my throat slashed in a matter of seconds.

That comic is all wrong, there's only one pair of the Sunglasses of Justice, and they're not supposed to go on until the end of the Crime Pun.

head count was one short?
kegean on 4/8/2008 at 03:16
Headcount was indeed one short according to the old CBC, -PLus apparentlly he brandished it around the bus to other passangers. Look, I swear, canucks are still a friendly people..Its not like he blew up the WHOLE bus
poor bugger though. Never knew what hit him

Anyone have any details about the motives of the killer or the exact events that occurred on the bus? Someone told me the killer was eating pieces of the victim, but google just says he stabbed him, beheaded him, and gutted him.
Pretty scary stuff.

I've met one particularly antisocial gentleman on a greyhound, but that's just ridiculous
Muzman on 4/8/2008 at 07:07
I heard that the attack started and everyone promptly fled the bus and while everyone was outside the guy had his merry way with what was left. Cops on the scene reported him displaying what he was doing through the front windows.
It's all purely bizarre and horrific, but do we really need to hear that the victim was such an all around good guy, pure of heart etc etc? Surely this can shock even the media into thinking sensation might not be necessary in this case?

I've heard of someone 'giving' head on a greyhound many-a-time; but never have I heard of someone 'taking' head...
