I have the newest version of FireFox (1.5.0.1 ?) and Platypus is only made for 1.5 or below.
Just check the comments on the extensions page. I really do love this. I just did some editing, and Dilbert now shows me absolutely nothing but the cartoon at the top, and the calendar links underneath. Perfect. Make sure you read the help page.

Aja - Apparently only likes threads if he is discussed.
It's true...
Maybe this thread is pretty good after all!

Poking around all these extensions inspired me to find out whatever happened to that damned-useful "Manage Folder" option that at one point was offered when you right-clicked a bookmark folder (most especially useful if you hang multiple bookmark folders on your toolbar, as I do).
I originally thought it must have been added by some extension I no longer used, but it turns out it was actually a standard feature that was later axed due to some minor quirks, and was deemed not worth fixing (due to the new bookmarking system being designed for v2.0).
Happily, there
is an extension available to restore it:

I love the obstinancy of these two vastly different threads continuing in solo.

I run IE at work. :(

Platypus works fine for me and I'm using 1.5.0.1
Is it possible to use Platypus to log in to forums automatically? I'm having a bitch of a time trying to get it working without deleting everything in the process. Plus, I can't seem to input text to forms with any of the Platypus tools.

Um, what? I think you may have greatly misunderstood the purpose of this extension.
Unless the forum software is behind the times, for this you want to enable cookies, and ask the forum to remember you.
I'm not aware of Greasemonkey being able to submit forms, in any case (and even if it can, you certainly won't do that via Platypus). You
could undoubtedly have it add a value attribute to a form field and then you could submit it manually, but why would you do that when Firefox will remember your form data on request without all this?

It takes some practice. Just be very very aware of what you are highlighting at any given time.

Again you could probably enter default value attributes to the form elements, but that's really
really not what it's for.
Platypus is far more geared towards effecting this sort of transformation:

I've found it's far more geared towards effecting this sort of transformation:

This script took about 10 minutes' worth of javascript and Photoshop work and automatically obscures each of Shadowcat's posts with a gigantic crudely-drawn penis. Happily it was trivial to make the penis scale according to the current screen real-estate. It'll certainly be a timesaver for browsing TTLG as I no longer have to expend mental effort visualising this each time.
Speaking of Dilbert, I picked up a Greasemonkey scriptlet that not only removes the redundant cruft of the Dilbert website but also makes the comics funny:

Shadowcat,
I was too bothered to mess around with Platypus, but I did find something that removes anything from a page.
Remove it Permanently - Allows you to remove any object on a site (except flash, but if the flash is in a table then you can remove the table cell and get rid of the flash at the same time.) You can also set it to remove items from a single page, from all similar pages, or from all pages with the same domain name.

Vigil - Doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves for his work around here.
