It really is the best trailer.

I got started on this (Gravity Rush 1), as something to play on the side so I don't burn out on Watch_Dogs 2, but so far it hasn't grabbed me yet. It's charming and fun, but something's missing, at least so far (I've only played for an hour or two.) Perhaps it's in part that while I like the world where it's set in terms of its overall look and feel, but as a place to navigate and explore it seems a bit samey. Then again, perhaps this gets better later on.

I also find it doesn't reach out and grab me Thirith. Partly I'm going through my annual gaming funk I think, and partly, I never feel completely in control.

Henke, did you end up getting Gravity Rush 2, or are you still waiting for it to come down in price?
I've just reached the fourth part of the city in GR, and while it's enjoyable enough, I do find it too repetitive. I just checked a walkthrough to see how far I am in the story, and it seems that I'm just around the 50% point, which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. The things that are neat about Gravity Rush (and there are many things) aren't exactly the kind of things that lend themselves to a game that's longer than 5-6 hours IMO.

Nope, haven't picked it up, even tho it was on sale recently. I was a bit underwhelmed by the demo, tbh. I'll still get around to it at some point.

Quick P.S. to my earlier post: while I'd still say that Gravity Rush is too repetitive on the whole and its environments are a bit too vague and generalised (I like their overall ideas, but the different parts still look pretty samey), the surprise environment it springs on the player after the halfway point, and especially the trip there, are very memorable.
I found the long descent that goes on and on and on quite scary - not so much because of what is shown, but because it really felt like the kind of journey where there's no return.
