Early access is a kind of a joke atm with its lack of content. But what's more troubling is that gameplay systems appear to be designed ad hoc, even though they flirt with associating the game to I-sim.
It's like they're laying out all the maps, releasing a very limited early access to try to figure out what the actual gameplay is, and then working backwards from there to refit all the maps.
This is the dev that made Bombshell, so perhaps curb your enthusiasm for the art style.
Isnt that how bethesda makes games :D sell game first, fix later?
Well graven was ok to me, i just wanted more refined content and less generic worlds.
Also more exploration.

Bethesda is "Sell game, let community fix it"

Me thinks this game is in some trouble.
No update whatsoever since e-a launch in May, which launched with all the content of the demo from even earlier. Lead mapper just got promoted to game director, cus apparently the old game director has no idea how to make vidya gaem.
The next update, said to be coming "soon" should give some info as to if this "hey that guy looks competent, make him do it" is working out or no.

Wow, hope it turns out alright eventually, but they'll have a hard time overcoming all the negative Steam reviews they've accumulated so far.
I think this is an example of when releasing a demo DID hurt the game. If they hadn't released the demo back during Steam Next that was pretty much identical to the EA version, I think people would go much easier on it and think of it as a promising start, rather than "hey did I just pay 16 bucks for the demo wtf".

That and the demo felt too early and unpolished anyway. It wasn't as fun as the gameplay videos would have suggested.

I do regret buying Graven in EA, I thought there'd be more content by now for sure. Also that they would fix some basic stuff like the save system. I guess I naturally compared it to Wrath, which I also bought and has far more to offer in EA and is much more finished. That said, I still have high hopes the Graven guys will turn it around and come up with something good.
