So long story short, we're packing up stuff and moving, and I found my old GeForce 4400. Now, my parents computer just has a simple intel intergrated graphics chip (that itself is a few years old) so I was thinking of sticking the 4400 in there, but I want to make sure it's better (i.e. the chip doesn't have some capabilities it doesn't). Where can I find a "graphics card comparison" place that features intergrated graphics chips? I've tried but have had no luck. Thanks for your help!

The 4400 while an old card will still be leagues better than the integrated thing they currently have

Integrated graphics on desktop computers - until lately - has always been inferior junk compared to any decent discrete graphics card. (And possibly even the crappiest graphics cards.) That Geforce card is light years ahead of whatever is integrated on your parents' computer.
I don't think there's any integrated graphics comparison chart, because there would be no point. In the past, they've all been awful.
When I tried doing a search, I did come across a pretty nice comparison chart for video cards (not integrated). It lists everything from the latest, all the way back to the 3dfx Voodoo and PowerVR days.

But the question is, whether your parents' computer will have the right slot (AGP) to allow the card to be plugged in.

When you say GeForce 4400, I hope you don't mean the POS Geforce 4 MX 440, but hopefully instead you mean the good Geforce 4 Ti4400. I had a Ti4400 for a long time, I played TDS on it when it came out, I always liked that card. It should be way better than anything on board, even recent on board stuff.

Yeah, I meant the Ti. Thanks for the help - I'll stick in in their machine.
Do you have to disable the intergrated card in the bios? Or will it automatically recognize that there's a better card and just use that?

It will pick up the Ti4400, but its good practice to disable the onboard vga etc

Yeah, I remember once having troubles with an intergrated card conflicting, but I can't remember how I disabled it - do you have to do it in the bios, or is uninstalling the drivers enough?

You need to do both.
