So I'm running thief 2 with the latest ddfix (1.5.11 or something like that) and what I notice is that when i turn away from anything the object or texture seems to stretch and becomes larger the more I move away from it.
For example - on the first mission when I look at the moon, in the centre of my screen it looks fine and dandy but when i move the screen to the left or right, it stretches and becomes enlarged (looking about 2 or 3 times larger).
I tried messing around with the resolution and fov to no avail but I don't really know too much about what I can do regarding this particular issue or if it is even considered an issue. help pl0x? Thanks for your time.

If you're using widescreen resolution, your horizontal angle of view increases and leads to distortion like here:

So if it bothers you, the solution is either use square resolution (4:3 or 5:4) and set your display to "maintain aspect ratio" or reduce FOV to 75-80.
