Are these supposed to be horror movies?

I've seen lots of 'dark' movies in the literary sense of cynical/non-happy-ending movies (ala A Boy And His Dog or Donnie Darko or Brazil etc.) but pretty much no horror movies, so I'm confused. I've got 1 so far.

Edit: Now I've got 10 - funny thing is, I haven't seen any of them. Go figure.
