A bit ago we had new struts put in our minivan, shortly after it started to shake. I didn't worry about it too much and took it into the shop when it was convienent a few weeks later. Turns out one of the front tires was delaminating, which can be dangerous.
So my tip is: if your car shakes, have the tires checked right away.
