I tried to knock Nerano down in a hand to hand fight. I leveled from 14 to 30 in hand to hand skill while fighting him. But whenever he had been down, I couldnt loot him. It had been written: character is in combat. So this is maybe a thing that came with a newer patch ...

Because I didnt want to screw the story line up , I didnt kill Nerano. I tried the setfight 0 command. It worked when I went outside casted it and casted chamaeleon on me before heading back in. Thanks for the hints.

But I cant get the Nerano Manor key. Nerano has it and his servant. Nerano allways is aware when I try to steal it and the corner gang i cant taunt so that they would attack me. I am stuck with this thieves guild quest.:rolleyes:
