And someday google earth-Street version will be a 3D world of which you can walk around and fight eachother and collect points and unlock new countries, or download them as expansion packs.

I see why people don't like it but I have to admit - the tech is great.

It doesn't really bother me at all. Living in a large metro area, everytime I go to the bank or the ATM, the grocery store, convenience store, department store, electronics store...anywhere there is something that could be easily stolen or something worth stealing, and even in many parking lots, I am being filmed. Here, we even have red-light cameras, so, if you run the light, they've got pictures of you doing it. Also, the toll booths take pictures of your license plate as you pass through in case you don't pay your toll. If you are a consumer, they've got plenty pictures of you already.
If somebody wants to see me pulling my shorts out of my ass or catch me picking my nose or watch me drinking & smoking cigars on my patio wearing less clothing than I should, go for it. I'm not doing anything wrong. It's like a world wide YouTube where everything is broadcast, not just the things you manage to catch on film.

she's not a "fella"...
pavlovscat on 23/7/2008 at 19:06
Yep. There's my house, but not the back patio. :cheeky:
And, Digi's correct, I'm not a fella. I'm usually out there with my hubby, scotch & cigars. He's taught me well.

Fortunately, I live in a rural area, so there's not an excessive amount of film of some of the things that have transpired on my deck.
But I'm sure the state of Michigan has more pictures of me than my family does.
