that's goodly not godly. Anyway I enjoy using heavy armor over light, but the problem is that Daedric Armor looks too damn evil. I was wondering if anyone ever made an armor mod with daedric stats but would look more like something someone trying to SAVE the world would wear. I've also seen the Imperial Dragon Armor, but that looks more gaudy than something a hero would wear(light grey just short of white, cause white is too bright in the game, with gold trimmings). I've also see the white glass mod, but that's light armor and it's almost unrealisticly bright.

yah I am a little bit picky. When I think up class or style I want to try, I sit down with a pen and paper to make all the stats perfect, but not cheating(which is why I rarely use mods). Then I fuss for about an hour over the shape of the face. Finally I try to make them look the part.
That first link had two that may have been promising. The ivory armor is ok, though not quite what I was hoping for. The pearl armor looks great too, but thats only if I play a female(and its kind of unrealistic, all of the vital organs are left unprotected.).
I may have to make my own, cept I've never modded before in my life. I suppose its worth a shot.

To alter weapon and armor stats in Oblivion is pretty easy. I'd never modded any TES games either, and it only took about 10 minutes to figure out how to change stats and properties of items.
Just download the Construction Set and check this out: (

A very quick overview.
EDIT: Alternatively, you can browse at (
www.tessource.net) although downloads there require registration.
