Good read from the guy who wrote "Fight club" - by Mr. K.

Thanks for that, Scots, :p though you're right: Guts is worse.

I suggest you rewatch it and pay special attention to the THIRD ACT.
For crying out loud people the movie doesn't end when he sets up Project Mayhem.
i haven't watched it since it came out, that's just the part that resonated with me... everything else is irrelevant because it already changed my life a little bit
edit: the last part of the movie is probably just an excuse to blow shit up
edit2: and by targeting the financial institutions, they are trying to force their philosophy of having nothing onto everyone else.

I didn't read Guts because I read it last time it was posted, but I read the nullo thing, and if I'm remembering correctly I'm more uncomfortable right now from the nullo than I was from that Guts crap.

If I'm not affected at all by either, does that mean I'm a weirdo ?

No it's the counterargument to everything in the first two acts.

A) Having done extensive business in downtown Wilmington, I must say that I do heartily support any effort expended to blow that place up. Just a wretched place. Not that I condone terrorism or anything, but it was sort of a high point of the film for me.

When you were digesting this life changing message about the commoditization, vapidness and ephemerality of modern life, were you watching this Hollywood blockbuster at the local multiplex, or had you purchased the special limited edition box set?

I have a bad reaction to that story, but only because I was reading it while on the toilet and, during the reading of the story, my piles prolapsed or something.
Taking notes for next April first
Also: The high point of Fight Club for me was the first half hour as it was pretty much all downhill after that.

My high point was Jared Leto he's a dreamboat.

I thought the Fight Club soundtrack was quite good. I think it was the Dust Brothers or something.
