Good read from the guy who wrote "Fight club" - by Mr. K.

Guts is a horrible, horrible story. That's not to detract from the fact that it's excellently written and utterly compelling in spite of its subject matter. It's always made me mildly curious about the author, however I find such a sadistic and nihilistic outlook to produce too bleak and depressing a read.
Oh yeah, also, this has been posted before.

Not so much old hat as prehistoric hat. What is this, the fifth time around now?
Also, it's bullshit, and he ripped the story off a real-life case ^_^''
oh I'm full of joy today

Well I haven't read it before, although I think I've heard it mentioned somewhere.
Good story anyway.

Well I've not seen it before. And yes, I feel a bit sick :(

Oh I remember this! This was the first story that makes me feel physically ill after reading. Before this, I didn't think that was possible.
Scots Taffer on 11/4/2006 at 14:08
Yep, after this even the nullo story is tame.

I'd just like to say that Fight Club was a mediocre book and Palahniuk's writing style is like pulling teeth.
